Job Responsibility (commissioning & Operation):

Involved in PRE-COMMISSIONING activities like Air Blowing, Hydro testing, Reinstatement and Conformity Check as per P&ID, Vessel Inspection, Chemical Cleaning, Co-coordinating with Vendors and Licensors in the preparation of Rotating Equipments for commissioning.

Involved in the COMMISIONING activities like Preparation of Operational Test Procedures for Pumps, and Compressors. Functional tests of Pumps like Pressure, Flow, Seal, Bearing Temperatures, Oil Flow, Vibrations, Low Flow, Load Test like Speed, Flow, Surge Limit on Compressors. Checking of Interlocks and Logics involved in the Process. Gross Air Leak Test, Nitrogen- Helium Leak Test, Inerting and Dry out of System

Co-ordinate with DCS vendor in making Schematics, to perform the all control valve stroke checking, control loop checking, function test, cause & effect, ESD and F&G system checking.

Monitoring and controlling the operation from Control Panel, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Includes maintaining continuous contact with various areas of the entire plant to keep them informed of overall operating conditions

Monitor, record, review and compile operations records, test results

Logging key & critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, concentrations, flow rates etc. Reporting the abnormalities to the supervisor.

Aware of ongoing maintenance work by reviewing permit to work records/logs.

Operates equipment and facilities in accordance with instruction from the supervisor, takes immediate action in case of any abnormal function, disturbance or alarm by adjusting process parameters in accordance with sops and report the abnormalities from time to time.

Go through log book for previous data, remarks etc and maintain it .As well logs operating incidents occurring during shift for records and for counter part on the next shift, and discuss incidents with supervisor.

Shut down the plant partially or totally incase of emergency and starts it up again in accordance with insurance from higher authority. As well perform normal and planned shutdown for maintenance.

Maintaining highest level of safety for personnel, equipment and installations.

Ensure dosing of chemicals on time, collect and record the details of consumption and stock.

Routine change over of pumps, dryers, filters etc..

Ensure process sampling for quality control follow up and operational adjustments. Monitor online sampling analysis.

Operating Crude Oil Separation Unit, Gas Sweetening Unit (DGA and MEA), Gas Dehydration Unit (TEG), Gas Recovery Unit, Sweet and Sour Gas Injection Unit (Multi Stage Reciprocating Compressors), Zero Flaring System, Pig Launching and Receiving Operation, Waste Water Disposal System, Plant Utility and Instrument Air Production Units.

Following up and recognizing the process operation changes in accordance with standard operation procedure using DCS records, trends, log reports, and controlling any abnormal variations in process parameters.

Regular patrolling and visual inspection on site for physical and process abnormalities of equipments, vessels and utilities.

Observing HSEMS measures and procedures at all times to ensure safe and smooth operational work.

Attending regular emergency drills to enhance and sharpen HSE awareness. Participate and contribute to the proposals and the suggestion for HSEMS improvement.
