Our project Data warehouse for Safeway insurance is a study of transactional system. The Safeway claims system supports all claims processing, accounting, and reporting and client management activates.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed the sources, Targets, Transformed the data and Mapped the data and loading the data into Targets using Informatica.

Project Title : Farmers Data Warehouse System (FDWS)

Description:

Farmers VIP (Value Insurance Package) Review provides agents with functionality to create and review existing accounts and prepare up-sell and cross-sell presentations in the new VIP format.

VIP, formerly multi-line quote process (MLP) was introduced to Alabama and Indiana in 2007 and has been implemented in all states since then.

VIP provides agents the capability to prepare a combined auto, home, life and umbrella quote proposal. This new proposal enables the agent to discuss the Farmers value from three viewpoints: compare coverage’s/deductible/discounts, compare premiums, and/or compare price per thousand. This functionality offers the agent maximum flexibility in preparing for and conducting a consultative sale.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in analyzing the systems.

• Designed various mappings for extracting data from various sources involving flat files and relational tables.

• Using designer to create source definitions, design targets, create mappings and develop transformations.

Description:

National Commercial Bank (NCB) is one of the leading banks in Jamaica. NCB has a strong record of growth and profitability. There are total 11 branches across the island. Information sits on various platforms. The aim is to migrate oracle-based platform.

The goal of the project is to provide ETL process to extract all orders from CI systems that require Emerald lookup as part of NCB project and send the report to Business community. The load process is scheduled to run twice a month. Business object is tool used for generating reports.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the Functional Team requirements & specifications

• Documenting Test cases and reviewing

• Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data by using Informatica Power Center.

• Extracted source data from flat files, Oracle and loaded to an Oracle.

• Created mappings using the transformations such as the Source qualifier, Aggregator, Expression, Router, Filter, Sequence Generator, and Update Strategy.
