Title : College Bell Automation

Aim : The aim of this project is to ring the bell automatically at the

end of the sessions, lectures etc.

Description : This project consists of 8051 microcontroller and real time clock.

The real time clock is a time keeping chip that will count seconds,

minutes,hours,date of month,date of week and the year.

RTC has 56 bytes of non volatile RAM for data storage,a

programmable square wave out put and automatic power fail detect.An

external 3 volts battery is used here to maintain internal RAM data.

Project 2

Title : Ultrasonic Range Finding

Aim : The aim of this project is to find the distance of an object by

Transmitting a short pulse of sound at a frequency inaudible to

the human ear. The time from transmission echo reception is

Used to find the distance.

Description : This project uses 5 transistors to receive and transmit the ultrasound

and a comparator to set the threshold echo detection level.Here we

. using ultrasonic transducers for transmitting and receiving ultrasounds.

In this project we used PIC microcontroller.

PIC is a family of Harvard architecture microcontrollers

made by microchip technology.The name PIC initially referred to

“Programmable interface controller”

Title : vehicle tracking using GSM and GPS

Aim : The aim of this project is to find the longitude and latitude of the vehicle

Description: In this project we used ARM controller for processing the data.

This system uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking technology in combination with Global System for Mobile (GSM) technology.

An integrated system employing latest tracking techniques using satellite receiver in the form of GPS Modem .Then the GSM module transmits the received data to the authorized Mobile user.
