Retired from U.S.Navy with ** years service, most of it in the administrative field as a Yeoman. Also, with 18+ years of installing structured cabling (ISP & OSP), I can provide additional experience and expertise to your talent pool. This experience includes copper (STP, UTP, RG6, RG11), fiber optics (single and multimode), and the termination and testing of systems once installed.

40-month National Radio Institute master course of instruction in micro-processing and microcomputers.

GENERAL

Have terminated CAT 3, CAT 5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6+ utilizing several USOC pinouts, 66 Blocks 110 Blocks, RJ11 and RJ45 jacks. Tested completed copper cabling projects (UTP & STP) utilizing Wirescope 100, Wirescope 350, Wirescope Pro and Fluke testers with associated Channel adapters. Have terminated single and multimode fiber using Hot Melt, Crimp, Anaerobic, epoxy and unicam termination methods, utilizing different types of connectors as required by the customer/job (SC, ST, LC, MTRJ, etc.). Have tested completed fiber projects utilizing Wirescope 350, Wirescope Pro and Fluke testers with associated MM and SM adapters. Have also used various models of OTDRs with bare fiber, SM and MM adapters.

IDF (5 comm equipment racks, 28 48-port patch panels, two 1U fiber trays, ladder racks and bonding and grounding). Terminated 1,336 CAT5e cables and 24-strand MM and 24-strand SM fiber (in IDF and MDF). Helped install projectors
