Worked with local, district, state, and federal governments obtaining grants, worked closely during the 2000 ice storm with FEMA, federal and state emergency personal. Served on the West Central Planning and Development District, Hot Springs, AR. Served on the District Land Fill Commission Board. Supervisor of Water and Sewer Department, Murfreesboro Fire Department, Murfreesboro Police Department, Sanitation Department and Street Department. Employed 6-8 full time employees, 6-18 part time employees during disaster. Worked with Murfreesboro City Council as head of council. Gave information per request from Council.

Worked with U. S. Forest Service obtaining grants for computers for Police Department and for the office of the Mayor.

Worked getting business to locate in Murfreesboro, worked closely with Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Also, helped local business as needed.

Obtained a Grant from FEMA to build a disaster shelter in Murfreesboro. The City of Murfreesboro was the only one to receive the federal grant which the current city council and mayor turned back to the federal government.

Performed Safety Meetings with employees.

Helped a business locate in Murfreesboro with a fifteen person staff.
