WORK EXPERIENCE

General Manager/Consultant

I am responsible for the design and operation of the Hydroponics/Organic Farm as well as building customer relations. I train and supervise employees on the day to day operations and prepare them to work independently. I am also tasked with sales and helping match companies needs with our available production. My consulting duties are to help businesses maximize profits while streamlining their operations.

This is a family owned and operated agricultural based business. From an early age, I was tasked with the overseeing of the daily operations of the business, training employees, supervision of employees, and every aspect of running the business. During this time, I had many opportunities to work with large groups of employees. I also had to predict crop readiness and determine the best market time by studying market analysis reports. I was responsible for insuring a good profit margin each year.

I am currently teaching Culinary Operations in a school to work program sponsored by the National restaurant Association, Department of Education, and Hillsborough County Schools. I am responsible for preparing students for a future in post-secondary schools as well as a career of their choosing. we use our curriculum as a tool to prepare students for a successful future. This training encompasses everything from cohort scheduling and instruction to learning to network with the business community in preparation for their careers.

I was responsible for the instruction of the school to work program sponsored by the National restaurant Association and Hillsborough County Schools. I taught students during a four year course to prepare for a future in the hospitality and restaurant industry. During my tenure at Freedom High School, I wrote a grant to build a $30,000 hydroponics Lab and Garden. I used this as a tool to teach students the relationship between the crops grown and the industry itself.
