BPCL - Kochi Petroleum Refinery
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is a frontline petroleum refinery in India with a turnover of around USD 2500 million, with a large presence in refining and marketing of petroleum products and larger energy and petrochemical sectors. During my training, I was exposed to working on Crude Distillation Unit, Diesel Hydro De-Sulphurisation Unit, Captive Power Plant, and Analyzer. Exposure in refinery operations of Primary Distillation units / Secondary Distillation units & downstream processing units with an overview of petroleum refining and clear insights on technologies applicable for various process demands, review relief valves, flares systems. This is a certified training project.
Academic Project:
TELEPHONY BASED REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM: The micro controller in this project is designed to control four operations at a time with the signals received from the source telephone. A telephone connection is given to the board for the desired operation .The telephone will attend the call automatically and the on/off operations can be done. This project is cell phone based industrial machine controller using a micro controller. This can be used for the operations in both small scale and large scale industries with the help of telephony services. This project finds more application at home; it can control both electrical and electronic components at home.
