• Worked in a team of four, aimed to investigate the use of hazardous chemicals in KLA Tencor’s equipment and to develop a tool which is environmentally compliant under RoHS/REACH regulations considering the business impacts.

• Participated in a team of four; the study was done to preliminary design specifications for a landfill that will serve Santa Clara County

• The specifications were: estimate of the quantity of solid waste, estimate of the land area required, estimate of the volume of gas and leachate produced, estimate of the daily cover, groundwater monitoring, closure and post closure monitoring,

• The landfill met all the subpart D requirements and all aspects of the California Integrated Waste Management Board

Emerging contaminants of concern in water, San Jose State University, Jan’09-May09

• Studied the different types of contaminants in water, which are hazardous to humans and environment. These may represent new contaminants or those may have been present but undetected
