Summary of Work Experience:

Sub-Sea:

Subsea rigid & flexible pipe laying, riser & I-tube installation. Automatic & semi automatic welding, NDT, field joint coatings, PQR, WQT by GMAW, FCAW & SMAW. Witnessing load testing of davits and NDT of critical joints. Review of calibration certificates of pneumatic gauges, load cell and davit wire ropes, concrete coated pipes and fitting. Verification of pipeline coordinates from alignment sheet with survey. Line pipe handling and cleaning, Anode distribution, welding of initiation head and bow string fixing, stringer angle and tension, Buckle detector insertion and retrieval, termination, metrology for riser, Lifting the spools, welding, NDT, Automated UT, phased array techniques, field joint coatings and lowering of riser spool, crossing, free span.

Topside:

Inspection and monitoring for fabrication of cellar deck, main deck extensions, platform topside launcher & receiver installation, equipments & piping spools erection, welding, NDT, PWHT, hardness testing, hydro test, painting works of piping, pipeline, structural brazing, primary & secondary pipe supports of platform topside modification works, stairs, chequered plates &

grating installation.

Welding:

• Review the WPS & PQR, witness the WPQT & mechanical test, check that all onshore/offshore-

related QA/QC work is carried out in accordance with the approved PQP & Inspection test plan.

• Check all documentation to execute the work such as approved welding procedures, Quality

Control procedures, NDT procedures, Codes & standards are available at work site.

• Check that all applicable equipment is calibrated and has valid certification.

• Review/Verify AUT system verification documents & inspection personal qualifications,

verify all documentation to execute the work such as approved AUT procedures,

check the AUT calibrations (Cal. IN & Cal. OUT) and as per the procedures,

witness & inspection of AUT, MUT activities, review of AUT, MUT documents.

• Check installation processes are carried out in accordance with approved procedures &

specification, inspection & confirmation of welding consumables as per the specifications.

• Witness & inspection of all welding activity, review of inspection documents & has the authority

to reject defective work.

• Automatic welding system familiar with - CRC Evans

Painting / Coating:

• Review the painting/coating procedure, verify/review all onshore/offshore-related painting /

coating work is carried out in accordance with the approved PQP & Inspection test plan.

• Ensure all documentation to execute the work such as approved painting / coating procedures,

quality control procedures, codes & standards are available at work site.

• Verify that all applicable equipment is calibrated and has valid certification.

• Check painting/coating application processes are carried out in accordance with approved

procedures & specification. Inspection & confirmation of painting/coating, blasting materials are

as per the specifications.

• Check & witness of profile, salt test, WFT, DFT, adhesive test, peel test & holiday test.

• Witness & Inspection of all painting / coating activities, review of inspection documents & has

the authority to reject defective work.
