PRODUCTION & INVENTORY

• Coordinated and worked on production to manufacture equipment (process control instrumentation, metal parts, printing presses) for energy, print and manufacturing industries

• Coordinated Materials Requirements Planning for production of $8MM/year product line

• Worked on a project to improve plant-wide inventory accuracy to 95%. Implemented 5S, defined rules, corrected inventory transactions and trained all employees on inventory controls

• Managed inventory levels of incoming and outgoing metal products for weld department

• Consolidated 2 welding departments to increase product flow. Changed cell layout, maximized inventory storage and floor space, designed ergonomic work spaces and cross trained staff on all lines

• Led project to expand production capacity of a $600K web press printer manufacturer. Designed a production line that could increase to three times the volume when needed.

• Collaborated on capacity improvements for instrument production line. Defined existing & projected capacity (labor, inventory, space, bottlenecks). Developed production from annual $8MM to $12MM over 2 years.

TECHNOLOGY & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• MATERIALS/INVENTORY: Enterprise Resource Planning software, MRP, 5S Principles

• Four years tig welding experience and two years experience as tig weld shop Cell Leader.

• WELDING: Pipe Groove Welding (SA 106, Grade B), and TIG welding
