WORK EXPERIENCE:

June 2011 to Present: Halocarbon Chemical Products, North Augusta, SC. I operate and maintain chemical processes in a continuous and batch distillation process, unloading trucks of raw material and loading containers of final product, taking hourly readings and troubleshooting are the main component of the job. Maintaining plant utilities and water outfall are vital as well.

January 2003 to October 2010: Eli Lilly, Augusta, GA. I operated and maintained pharmaceutical aseptic equipment and control systems, under FDA cGMP guidelines and regulations while producing pharmaceutical products, and monitored computer controls for batch processing and accurately completed all batch records and other documentation. I developed, revised, and followed SOP’s for the facility. I operated multiple types of pharmaceutical process equipment, as well as used aseptic and sterile techniques while sampling and producing each batch. I assisted with ongoing validation projects. I have experience using SAP, Aspen trending software, LIMS/PIMS software, and ProVOX.

September 2002 to January 2003: Austin Industrial, Augusta, GA. Contracted by Austin to work as an Operator Assistant at Nutra Sweet. I was assigned to Finished Product. My duties included inspection and packaging of the finished product using GMP standards. Gathering hourly samples/readings, maintaining the process using a control board, and general process trouble-shooting.

March 2002 to August 2002: Southern Felt, North Augusta, S.C. I was hired to operate a machine called a Card that is the fundamental element in the production of felt. With minimal supervision I operated the machine to company standards every shift. In-process quality control, evaluating overall condition of the finished felt, and constant attention to the Card are major parts of the job.

January 1998 to March 2002: Olin Chemicals, Augusta GA. Upon completion of the Chemical Operators course, secured a position as a CP Salt operator. I progressed from a shipper/loader to Main Control Room Operator. Job duties including monitoring the entire plant process by taking hourly readings, sampling and analyzing process elements, and making calculations and process corrections. Accrued multiple hours of training in HAZWOPER, HAZMAT, HAZCOM, on site incident commander, first aid buddy care, and DOT/OSHA regulations.

April 1997 to January 1998: Sonoco IPD, Augusta GA. I was initially employed in the shipping department and promoted to Head Finishing Department operator after three weeks. I produced specialty paper rolls required to meet exact specifications, before use in paper mills throughout the southeast.

September 1996 to April 1997: Medical College of Georgia, Augusta GA. I was employed as a Garage attendant/mechanic. Primary responsible for preventive maintenance for a variety of fleet vehicles including fabricating new parts as required.

May 1992 to September 1996: Enlisted in the US Air Force. Chaplain Service Support Personnel
