As release engineer for R&P and integral steering gears, interfaced with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, PC&L on component, sub-assembly, and finished assembly issues as well as program management and timing issues.

As a Fuel Modular Reservoir (FMR) design and release engineer I worked with domestic and international customers releasing into production 13 different FMRs along with trouble shooter, analyzed, diagnosed and corrected design issues to achieve time, cost, and quality improvements. Worked on many cost savings programs resulting in over ($500,000) in cost saving via material and design changes along with supplier changes. Designed and released gas, flex fuel and diesel FMA systems. Design and manufacturing tolerances down to 0.01mm. Worked closely to incorporate lean manufacturing with current and future designs.
WALBRO (TI AUTOMOTIVE)
Project Engineer 1988 – 1994
Project leader and program manager on many different customer fuel system projects domestic and international. Re-designed fuel system to correct packaging issues. Commonized components and manufacturing process to reduce cost and timing also improve quality (over $300,000 savings).
