Senior Statistical Data Analyst

Managed a multi-center research project involving the relationship between genetic markers, obesity and hypertension. Developed and maintain multi-center database. Enterprise Rent-a-Car 1996 to 1998

Senior Analytical Specialist, Data Mining Department

Evaluate customer database to discover new business opportunities. Used third party demographic information (Acxiom, Inc.) together with customer database to develop a scoring system for determining the most profitable car renters. Analyzed the results of the employee opinion survey using advanced statistical techniques. Determined the success of direct mail campaigns. Used SAS to evaluate the results of an Internationally conducted panel study and placed findings into Excel spreadsheets.

Anheuser-Busch, Inc. 1992 to 1996

Analyst, Marketing Planning and Research

Provide analytical support to the department. Key responsibility was the management of the beer brand imagery studies which measure consumer perception of the beer category. Work with consulting statisticians, software developers and field service providers to develop powerful and easy-to-use consumer survey instrument, manage data collection and analyze the results. Created analysis of facing optimization at the account level (AFOAL) model to be provided to Anheuser-Busch wholesalers for planning optimal brand-package mix at the retail account level. Produced reports, charts and graphs to communicate results of statistical analysis. Collaborated with Busch Entertainment Company on research needs.

Consultant to Monsanto, Inc.

Provided statistical programming support to the Animal Sciences Division in it’s efforts to gain approval for the sale of bovine somatotropin (BST) from the FDA. Taught classes in the SAS programming language to members of the technical staff.

Statistical Data Analyst

Statistical consultant to physicians and medical researchers. Performed a wide variety of data base management and statistical testing procedures. Participated in several breakthrough projects including a study of hip fractures in the elderly and discovery of first successful drug treatment of muscular dystrophy with results written up in prominent journals including the “New England Journal of Medicine.”
