Paint Quality Control Group Leader/ Supervisor – Oversight of a team of 10 paint quality control team members. Job consists of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action and perform routine performance and process audits (Check for Film Build Thickness, Perform Wavescan, Gloss Check, Color Match, Surface Defect Inspection, Sealer Leak Check, Adhesion Testing, Electro-Disposition Inspection and Rub Check) to ensure quality standards are being met. Ensure product quality is within specification. Maintain detailed record of quality defects and report any repeating issues. ISO 14001/TS 16949 Certified. Work with production personnel to set up containment on defective parts, also work side by side with production personnel repairing online defects. Monitor, record and report production data. Create cross training plans and maintain training records for all hourly team members. Monitor and maintain Time and Attendance records daily. Troubleshoot daily quality, safety and production issues. Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs. Ensure team members have the equipment they need to perform their daily audits and ensure equipment it calibrated and in working order.
Acting Group Leader – Stepped up as an Acting Group Leader during the IQS Project. Oversight of a team of between 14 and 26 from July of 2010 to January 2011. Handled attendance, data entry, team member support, provide organization feedback and other business metrics.
QC Team Leader – Oversight of a team of twelve team members, including scheduling, new team member training, ensuring consistency in product inspection and quality decisions by team members. Provide organization feedback on the status of product and process quality. Perform pre-shift startup verifications, monitor status of equipment operations and escalate concerns as required. Created standardized work instructions and update as needed. Have performed the role as Team Leader on both the FIL/Shower area and the OK Line. Provide team support when and where needed.
