During my shift, I am responsible for a variety of things, ranging from but not limited to, maintaining a clean environment for shoppers and fellow co-workers by performing regular safety sweeps throughout the store, scrubbing the floors using a machine scrubber, buffing floors using a buffing machine, cleaning offices as well as the break room and backrooms and collecting and organizing the carts for easy customer access.

The first month or so of my employment I was a cashier. In that process, short as it may have been, I was in direct contact with money and customers, meeting all their demands to ensure satisfaction. After that I was promoted to merchandise pick-up associate where my main objective was transport items to the customer’s cars in a sage but timely manner.
