Responsible for Sales Education (globally), Technical Education, Technical Documentation (globally), Customer Technical Education, and Management Development. Shared joint responsibility with Siemens AG in Munich, Germany for global Educational programs and standards. Managed a staff of over 150 employees in the US with an annual budget of $25M+ and revenue generation of $15M.

Key Results:

Transformed the Education Role from a cost of business function to a profit and loss revenue generation model with support from the business units and unit executives. Successfully integrated three separate training organizations (IBM, Siemens, and Rolm) into a cohesive integrated unit with savings exceeding $30M. Developed a centralized registration system, consistent curriculum design programs, and integrated instructional design policies and pedagogical standards.

Pioneered and implemented E-learning to executive level management throughout the company, gaining full acceptance with committed resources and global recognition over an eight year period. (1998-2006)

Coordinated with global Siemens AG Education Functions to standardize instructional practices and policies with written employee manuals on instructional guidelines, disciplinary procedures, and an international classroom code of conduct.

Successfully downsized the Education Organization to meet corporate expectations and financial goals with minimal disruption to customer satisfaction and employee morale. (2004-2007)

Prepared the smooth transition of the Education Organization within Siemens Communications to complete the merger/acquisition of Siemens Communications Inc. by Nokia AG (2006-2007)
