AREAS OF EXPOSURE

• Ensure that all Welding, Heat Treatment, any hardness testing, Inspection and Non-destructive testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications.

• Responsible for reviewing RT/MT/PT/UT reports, Post weld heat treatment chart, hardness test report and radiography film interpretation throughout the projects.

• Reviewing and checking of Welding Procedures Specifications.

• Conduct the Welding Procedure Qualification test as per ASME Section IX and Client’s specification.

• Organize and conduct the Welder's Performance Qualification test as per ASME Section IX and client’s specification.

• Check only approved electrode, filler wire and gas are used.

• Monitoring of welding consumables control and documents.

• Checking of pipe fit-up as per IFC drawings.

• Visual inspection of completed weld as per specification requirement.

• Inspection carryout the pressure tests (hydro test & pneumatic test).

• Preparing & maintaining QA/QC documents.

• Successfully handled the entire project inspection activities.

• Undertaking line checking through Isometric drawing, P & ID, General arrangement drawings.
