Job Responsibilities

Managing the Network & Security team in MDS/ICT-Qatar, my key responsibilities included:

As a Technical Team Lead

- Leading a team of 3 technical staff

- Provide technical advice to the team, when and where needed

- Develop the team technical capabilities, by proper coaching, knowledge management, lessons learned, training, …etc

- Maintain daily visibility on the team tasks and performance

- Responsible for major IT projects, such as Secure Network & Internet Solution, Infrastructure Migration, Domain Migration, Systems Upgrade, Active Directory Designing.

- Quality Assurance to the services provided

- Attending level 2 support calls, Following up with Customers to resolve Technical issues and problems, as well as routine maintenance visits and networking support

- Handling Customer Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and maintenance Contracts.

As a Customer Advocate

- Responsible for the customer satisfaction for a set of key customers, in all technical areas

- Following up new trends in technology and evaluate its benefit to Customers, Propose Solutions for Customers, Build productive relations with the customers and suppliers

- Working with management to address customer concerns and expectations

As a Solution Architect

- Provide NW sales team advice on complex designs to verify interoperability, ….etc

- Visit customers along with sales team to help understanding customer requirements
