September, 2006 Assistant Superintendent on the Holly Hill Marina Grande project, Building Two. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of all structural work, from piles through elevated structure. Scheduled concrete, steel and PT deliveries. Worked with the building superintendent to develop look-ahead schedules and coordinate subcontractor activities.
January, 2004 SELF-EMPLOYED, Palatka, Florida.
October, 2005 Restored turn-of-century homes in Palatka, Florida. Scope of work included total gut and remodel projects to various smaller projects for homeowners. Projects included kitchen and bathroom remodels, building porches, reworking double hung windows, siding and roofing. In addition to the carpentry work, Rob also performed electrical, plumbing, ceramic tile, roofing, hardscape and landscape work.
November, 2001 PERRY HARRISON COMPANY, Cutler Ridge, Florida.
December, 2003 Superintendent. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of multiple project millwork installations in South Florida. Duties included the coordination of shop drawings, material procurement, and the scheduling and supervision of installation work. High priority placed on quality and client satisfaction resulting in repeat business.
April 2000 to THE KEN JACOBS COMPANY, Jacksonville, Florida.
November 2001 Superintendent. Responsible for all general contractor activities for the Bell South Substation additions and modifications at the Bullstreet BST, Savanna, Georgia; the Atlantic RSM Building, Jacksonville, Florida; and the BST Additions, Milton, Florida. Duties included coordination of construction activities, processing submittals, ordering and scheduling materials and equipment, obtaining and coordinating local manpower and subcontractors, daily and monthly reports, developing the overall project schedule and weekly look-ahead schedules, holding weekly job coordination meetings and safety meetings, and processing change orders. All projects were completed on time and in budget.
1998 - 2000 KINARD JOHNSON CONSTRUCTION CO., Jacksonville, Florida
Superintendent. Responsible for all concrete construction on the Bell South Beachwood Substation and the Bell South Mandarin Loretta Building Addition. Duties included formwork design, submittals, ordering and scheduling of materials and manpower. Kinard Johnson was a concrete subcontractor to The Ken Jacobs Company. After more than a year’s work with Kinard, The Ken Jacobs Company asked that I join them as Superintendent for the General Contractor.
1998 HENRY C. BECK, Orlando, Florida
Assistant Superintendent. Crescent III Office Building construction and tenant improvements, Lake Mary. Building construction was structural steel frame, joist, and concrete on metal deck. Exterior was precast and curtain wall & window wall construction. Roof was lightweight insulating concrete with membrane. Responsible for job coordination, coordination with subcontractors and preparing two-week look-ahead schedules. Job was completed on schedule and under budget.
1997 HENRY C. BECK, Atlanta, Georgia
Foreman. Worked as Carpenter Foreman on the Twin Lakes Office Building in Kennesaw, Georgia. Responsible for all precast embeds in slabs and columns in a 5-story post-tension office building. Promoted to Superintendent and transferred to Florida.

Assistant Superintendent / Foreman: Started work as a Union Carpenter and advanced to Field Foreman working on various commercial projects. Projects included: Holder Construction Company: Southern Bell Office Tower; Coke-Cola Office Tower and Parking Garage; IBM Office Building; Concourse Health Club (also was Safety Director); J.A. Jones: Peachtree One Office Tower; Baker Concrete: Concourse III Office Building; Henry C. Beck: Lennox Parking Garage; Moseman Construction Company: IBM Office Tower (UG Utilities & Site Structures); Prestressed Systems Inc.: Concourse I, II & III at Hartsfield International Airport; Cleveland Group: Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Cartersville, Georgia and Marietta Sewage Treatment Plant. Carpentry and Foreman experience was mostly in the area of rough carpentry (form work and layout) from pile caps to walls & columns and slabs. Formwork included both wood and metal forms. Slab work included building and working with tables, pan decks, conventional deck forming (both CIP & post-tension), and precast single joist systems (PSI) as well as precast double-tees.

(Summer Work) Carpenter Apprentice: Joined the local carpenter’s union and developed skills in formwork on large commercial projects.
