Professional Experience

Huen Electric May 2008 – September 2009

Completed electrician work for the new construction of St. Mary’s Hospital Century Project in Grand Junction, CO. This job entailed using, and installing electronic wiring, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. I placed conduit inside designated partitions, walls and other concealed areas and pulled wire or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. This was done with expertise and my ability to follow blueprints and determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. During this time I directed and trained apprentices to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring equipment and fixtures. I worked on this job from the ground up to see the completed project.

B and B Electric December 2005 – May 2008

Electrician with experience in commercial, residential and industrial electrical work. Functioned as a mentor for new apprentices, supervised other employees and was a strong team player. Plan lay out and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Knowledgeable in all areas of electrical work related to my position.

Apprentice Electrician October 2001 – December 2005

During this time I worked with various electrical contractors through my apprenticeship program gaining knowledge from installing fire alarm and temperature control through high voltage wiring. The main focus was residential work where I gained a firm understanding of electricity and circuitry. I worked with many qualified journeyman electricians gaining knowledge and skills from all.
