Junior Design: I was involved in the Machining and Budgeting, circuitry configuration. At the
Robot competition the team was awarded for Best Robot, Fastest Time. (Fall 2008)
Thermal/Fluids design Team Member, designing the piping and plant layout of a Coal burning

Senior Design-developed the conceptual design of an electric hydraulic scissor Jack and

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Technical Internship at Pergo, Inc. at Garner, NC (Summer 2009)
• Designing a lift mechanism and ordering parts for a auger saw located on the DL line to
improve worker safety during an internship at Pergo Inc.
• Designed clamps and outsourced the fabrication of the clamps to replace the existing
design (clamps were made of aluminum and tended to break over a small amount of
time.).
• Fabricated finger clamps used to hold up the laminate floor boards, previous to being cut
into planks, to test out the warp of the boards.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Mechanical Engineer for Stanza Machinery (November 2012-Present)
• Use AutoDesk to draw up plan views for customers.
• 3D CAD modeling for various machine stands and conveyor roller systems.
Electrical Assembler/Inspector II for Marshall Air Industries (June 2012-Present)
• Assemble and build various sub-assemblies into a wide range of complex electrical units that
require close tolerance and precision.
• Must read and interpret engineering specifications from diagrams and CAD systems.
• Work with engineers and technicians with assembling prototypes and testing products.
• Compile, tabulate and summarize inspection data for analysis.
Control Panel Assembler and Tester for PSI control solutions (December 2010-May 2012)
• Able to read various electrical schematics and drawings, specifically for Square D and
Centac control panels, EATON meter panels, Rix panels, just to name a few.
• Skilled in the preparation and assembly of control panels, and the wiring of the panels in
an expeditiously and satisfactory manner; mainly 3-phase.
• Can perform inspection of a completed panel for testing and programming of panel’s
components, if necessary.
• As a tester for PSI I must perform a thorough inspection of each control panel abiding by
specific instructions arranged by each company.
