SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE

I have 30 years experience in the Engineering and Construction Industry, with over 24 years experience as a Piping Designer. I have worked in supervision, designing and checking of drawings for the construction of petrochemical plants and refineries, I have been the Lead Designer on Cold Box Units for Chart Industries. I was the principal Piping Designer for the Moody Gardens expansion project. I was Supervisor for the mechanical side of the new Terminal E at Houston Intercontinental Airport. I was a liaison between Ebasco and Bechtel on the South Texas Nuclear Project where I was responsible for scheduling the work for over two hundred construction personnel in the Reactor Containment Building – Unit II. In 1990 I was the Squad Leader on a HAZZOP review at the Phillips Petroleum Plant H.C.C.. I also taught Algebra and Trig. in the Houston Community College system for two years. I have had numerous field assignments as well as office assignments. I started as field draftsmen in the pipefitting industry. I was a board draftsman for 9 years. I have 15 years of Computer experience. I have been doing 3D for 12 of those years.

Principal Designer at Calumet Plant in Shreveport La., Principal Designer for most of the Marathon projects. Teaching CadWorx in-house 3D classes 10 Hrs per week to entire drafting department, which includes several disciplines.

10/05-11/06 Senior Piping Designer, Cadworx-3D: Upstream Engineering, LLC, Houston, Tx.

Lead Designer on the BPZ Gas Plant project in Corvina Cruz, Peru. Created 3D Model. Created Site Plan, Key Piping Plan, Piping Plans, Sections, Details, & Construction Iso’s.

Involved in a joint effort with Black & Veatch in the design of a Sulfur Recovery Unit for Shell Chemical, Yabucoa, P.R. Deigned numerous Fuel Gas skids for various clients. This included General Arrangements, Plans and Sections for pipe and steel, plus construction Iso’s. Helped develop current Spec’s and Standards used by the company.

Helped in the design of Calm Bouy’s and other mooring projects. This was all model space production.

Participated in the design of a sulfur recovery plant. Helped produce demolition drawings for a MTBE/TAME unit for TEXACO, field assignment in New York.

Responsible for the design of a storage facility and Truck loading Terminal. Produced Plans, Sections, Details and Construction Iso’s.

As a sub contractor for Brown & Root our company was hired to produce Inspection Iso’s for their Quality Assurance Department. As Piping Supervisor for our Company my responsibility was the development of these specialized Iso’s for the Conoco/Westlake facility in Lake Charles, LA.

Designed Booster Station for PEMEX. Part of design team for the development of Equipment Location Dwg’s, Key Piping Plans, Line List, Piping Plans, Sections, Details, & Construction Iso’s on twin Sulfur Recovery Projects for Koch Refining in Corpus Christi, TX.

1/94-10/94 Senior Piping Designers, Pro Pipe: Kinetic Systems, Inc., Austin, Texas

Set location of Equipment in the “Clean Room” of MOS 13 chip plant for Motorola. This was a High Purity Piping System. Produced Equipment Location drawings, Pipe Plans, Sections, Details & Construction Iso’s.

5/91-11/93 Senior Piping Designers, Jacobs Engineering, Houston, Texas

Produced background drawings, and was responsible for keeping the P & ID’s up to date for an Aerosmatic Unit at the Exxon Plant in Baytown. Field assignment on the West Tank Farm Expansion Project at the CITGO plant in Sulfur LA. Duties included tie-in location drawings, producing Demo drawing using Sepias and aerial photos.

Part of a Design team on a Carbon Black Unit for Witco in Ponca City, OK. Field assignments in Corpus Christi, TX. at the CITGO Plant where I was responsible for the redesign of a Marine Terminal. Squad Leader at the Phillips Petroleum Plant H.C.C., where I was responsible for producing accurate P &ID’s for weekly HAZZOP review meeting’s with company engineers and Phillips supervisors.

As a liaison between Ebasco & Bechtel, on the South Texas Nuclear Project, I was responsible for scheduling the work for over two hundred construction personnel in the Reactor Containment Building – Unit II. I was responsible for putting together weekly schedules with two and five week windows which were met at 95 to 100% percent accuracy.
