• Transitioning two Class 4 laser systems from Design to Production for use in military applications.

• Transitioned a remote sensing system from design to prototype phase. Verifying BOM, developing material plan, writing work instructions and performing assembly analyses.

L-3 Insight Technology Inc. Londonderry, NH 1/2008 – 3/2010 Manufacturing Engineer

• Developed product packaging process and assured that these processes meet MIL-STD and contractual requirements.

• Assisted in leaning out inventory, reducing stockroom space and working with suppliers on their packaging quantities to allow for easier counting during inventory and for easier replenishment to the production floor.

• Developed packaging requirements for all products packaged and working on guidelines for shipment of products exiting the facility.

• Fabricate, calibrate and qualify test equipment. Also transition this equipment into production and correlate equipment to similar equipment used in production.

• Perform production floor layouts for lean manufacturing line through the interpretation of time studies and employing classic line balancing techniques.
