Do the Design for the High capacity Trunk Radio Microwave links (SDH) and verify the customer’s Microwave planning for the implementation of the new Microwave Link for the Ethernet and traditional TDM link using the Pathloss 4.0 simulation software

Deployment of Microwave SDH, PDH Networks and Optical Transmission Networks with High capacity ADM Surpass hiT(TDM & Ethernet MUX) series for the regular Transmission backhaul network

Provide supports to the customer’s team for the dimensioning of the required E1 and fiber Optical connectivity for specific cell site configuration.

Lead the team for the Preparation of the Site BOM(bill of materials), site as built drawing, Technical site survey report, equipment delivery to the site

Lead the Team for the installation, commissioning, integration and Acceptance(PAT) of the Microwave radio, Fiber Optic Transmission backhaul networks, Ethernet Radio link.

Transmission Network Implement & Maintenance(Operational) support

Customer: GrameenPhone Limited (a TELENOR affiliated company)

Main Responsibilities:

Do the Design & implementation for the Microwave link upgrade, Link Swap from Low capacity to high capacity Trunk MW. Fine tuning of the planning parameter and Interference Analysis for the upgrade and new link implementation

Managing the complex projects which are mostly related to Microwave and Optical Transmission equipments including MW SDH and PDH products, SDH ADM(Surpass hiT 7060,7030, 7070 etc), TNMS, Netviewer, etc.

Lead the necessary path survey for the new link planning and Link Up gradation using the Pathloss 4.0 simulation software. Plan the E1 connectivity using SONET networks

Managing the DI-MUX project (FMX) concerning all the project activities starting from Project creation till the Project Final acceptance for the Bangladesh Railway Department.

Plan & Implement of regular Software Upgrade and Update for the MW Radio & Optical NE, Network Management System (Net viewer and TNMS Core) including the HW upgrade

• Technical Path survey, Candidate selection and feasibility analysis for the new link budget planning

• Installation, commissioning and Integration of the High Capacity Trunk Microwave link as Co-channel, Space diversity, Frequency diversity configurations. Implemented more than 100 SDH Trunk Microwave links in the country with subsequent upgrade in the link capacity and implement lots of low capacity Microwave links

• Microwave link Performance analysis of existing links and to identify any propagation issues, planning parameter issues etc and provide necessary recommendation to resolve it.

• Fiber Optical Network Design, dimensioning of required connectivity, Technical Site survey, dimension the required materials, Installation, Commissioning, Integration and Acceptance of the equipments as per the deployment plan.

• Re-design of 46 links of Microwave Backbone of Banglalink customer to improve the performance and Implement the corrections as per Design & maintenance of the links under yearly maintenance contract.

• Planning for the required connectivity to integrate the Network elements to the management systems and implement them accordingly

• Dimension of the Network management system capacity for the Microwave and Fiber Optic equipments and Implement them

• Design & Build the Siemens Transmission lab to test faulty equipments to screen them before sending to the repair center, for any equipment Retrofit in the lab, testing of new software build before implement in live network, testing of new features of Optical and Microwave products etc.

• Provide support to build customer’s Lab for the Microwave and Fiber Optical transmission equipments and provide necessary technical support for that lab
