PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Project Leader, SPECTRUM SERVICES, INC (1994-Present)

Maintain full accountability for managing all aspects of day-to-day environmental health and safety activities in support of organizational goals. Work with other organizations (public and private) to establishment of environmental health & safety management system design, implementation, and measurement. Applied strategic task and financial planning and management skills toward consistently achieving critical deadlines and budget targets while maintaining high quality standards and meeting safety goals for various organizations.

• Lead project as the Environmental Construction Manager and Onsite Health and Safety Officer for re-establishment of the abandoned Robinson Brick Company (ROBCO) Home Depot Superfund Site.

• Lead a diverse safety and environmental professional team as the Project Leader to perform the first remediation project at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Commerce City, Colorado for the US Army and Shell Oil to start the development of a wildlife preserve. Project was performed on time, within budget and no recordable injuries or safety procedure violations. Received several more contracts to perform based on personnel safety performance and meeting required timeframes.

• Advised small plating operations on how to perform proper environmental health and safety procedure in order to prevent OSHA and CDPHE enforcement actions.

• Provides services in the areas of environmental and health & safety site - specific and strategic initiatives for the successful re-development of the former Stapleton International Airport to be a residential and commercial neighborhood.

• Successfully established, completed, trained, audited, and managed numerous environmental health and safety site specific plans for numerous Colorado Department of Transportation Construction projects. The format was cost-effective method made simple to instruct and monitor a diverse work population and work tasks to be performed.

Unit Manager, Environmental Programs PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF COLORADO. (1988-94)

• Implemented and directed the PSCo's corporate environmental health and safety management program. This position included the establishment of the program, personnel training and the assessment of the effectiveness of the program. Presented regulatory and financial requirements and impact forecasts to corporate executive management relating to environmental laws/requirements. Established standards are still in use.
