I have over 23 years of experience in the field of Cardiac Medicine. I am trained in over 30 different Procedures that require critical thinking skills. Alegent Health - April 2001 Current

First Assist physicians in all Invasive Cardiac Procedures, Thoracic procedures,Vascular procedures and Neurologic Procedures. I am trained in Skin Closures. I am trained with several different modalities to include Fluoroscopic Radiation Equipment (Siemens, GE, Phillips and Toshiba). In my experience, I am trained in Digital Subtraction of Images, Computer Guided imaging, and computation of Laboratory Values. I am also a trainer for new staff in radiation Safety and Radiation equipment/procedures. I am a take charge person, meaning that on any given day I have to run the department. Answer calls, assign staff; schedule procedures and deal with physicians and administration. I pride myself on being an above average communicator and educator. My training consists of over 30 different procedures in all require critical thinking on a daily basis. I also participate in clinical trials specific to Cardiovascular and Vascular medicine. I enjoy doing research on equipment, work flow, etc. I am also competent in computers and most all office equipment. I have an open door policy when it comes to talking with people. I am a
consummate team player. I am also the Safety Team Leader for the Department and I am in charge of ordering the Central Supplies for the department as well. I am in charge of maintaining all equipment for safety and effectiveness. Also, I am involved in the scheduling of procedures with the MAC office, and when On Call, I am in charge for the hospital for any questions or concerns regarding patients, scheduling etc.
