Achievements

•I created the Beryl Oil and Gas’s network from the ground up, purchasing the servers, routers/switches, VoIP telephones, software, desktops/laptops and created the network environment that held 100% uptime throughout my tenure. This was achieved even during the five (5) office moves which were necessary due to the construction/rebuild of the office space.

•Within two (2) weeks of joining I.T. Works I was able to close 441 open, unresolved and outdated tickets, leaving only seven (7) outstanding tickets.

•Significantly reduced the number of escalated tickets by two-thirds by creating an in-house training program for Help Desk Technicians, providing them with the skill and knowledge to handle these incidents personally.

•Created the process and procedure for retaining client documentation; using uploads into SharePoint and implementing a filing system for the hard copies. Until this point all Account managers and Network Engineers kept their own records which were not accessible to all.

•Discovered and cleaned up financial errors (within AutoTask) that caused the financial reports to be off approximately $500,000.

•Created MS Access database for the Accounting and Shipping Departments 16 years ago that is still in use today and is the “center” of how the company does business.
