PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Repeated breakage in produced yarn resulted in return of product by customer. A careful evaluation of the gear pattern on one twister frame resulted in a need to modify the "twist" revolution gear. The frame was then tagged as "Special" so that future manufacture of a different product could be adjusted. Achieved desired customer results and satisfaction.

Discovered during the manufacture of a new fatty amine product, that the conditions of the process needed to be adjusted to meet the peak height ratio specifications. Gathered my most experienced technicians, QA Manager, and Technical Manager to discuss the process. Team agreed on process and equipment modifications. The outcome was a quality product even better than the one produced in our R&D lab, which, was then marketed to several customers.

Conducted research of a product that regularly required adjustments during the process. SPC data revealed that the product always required an add of one of the raw materials to meet final specification. Submitted a request to R&D to add these additional pounds in the formula. On the second attempt we were able to meet all specifications without an in process add.
