Senior Periop authority in Walnut Creek Cath Lab facility and Pleasanton OR facility. Material Cost Specialist for

both KP facilities. Scope of these simultaneous positions was expansive and included department direction for

the following:

• Review and analyze purchase requisitions from assistant buyer and all departments from the hospital and clinics for

SOX Compliances.

• Purchase all Implants, Pacemakers, Human Grafts, Cardiac Caths, Scopes, Instruments, and Capital Equipment.

• Skilled in building and managing cohesive internal customers and supplier relationships.

• Extremely knowledgeable of inventory control and purchasing practices and procedures.

• Monitor shipments to ensure that products come in on time, and in the event of problems, trace shipments and follow-

up on undelivered product with vendors.

• Inventory reconciliation and problem solving around system and processes ( PME/ NTP & AP )

• Review, edit, and update surgery schedules daily with OR Physicians and manage ordering of equipment and tissue

Grafts.

• Ensures that all internal audits controls are followed.

• Conduct trend analysis and compliance monitoring adjust PAR levels and review inventory accuracy.

• Supervise and manage staff.

• System Administrator for SpaceTrax inventory management system.

• Responsible for vendor relation, overseeing trails and loans of equipment and supplies.
