Strategic Sourcing Manager

• Initiated and lead program with CHOP’s Pediatric Offices, Specialty Care Centers and Ambulatory Surgery Centers, 37 Unique locations, to rebid all support services and to reduce vendor base. Reduced overall spend by $300K, reduced vendor base by half.

• Organized and led cross functional team of Facilities and Ambulatory Directors to better manage capitol and facilities oriented spend at CHOP’s 37 off site locations, resulting in vendor reduction from 12 to 3 and a capitol plan to replace damaged or obsolete non-clinical equipment

• Trained 37 Site mangers in invoice management and basic vendor management to aid in enforcing contracted services and costs, eliminated payment of Fuel Surcharges and various other up charges through this effort

• Implemented process with Finance to improve payment with vendors to reduce double and over payments, saved $136K

• Implemented Vendor Managed inventory throughout hospital for MRO and HVAC goods reducing inventory on hand and eliminating outages, reduced on hand inventory by $29K
