Accountabilities:

Currently working & leading the project and the responsibilities include the following,

Installing & Configuring MQ FTE on Client servers.

Applying fix packs for MQ FTE.

Installing & Configuring MQ on Servers & Installing MQ FTE Server.

Creating Queue managers, FTE agents.

Project Description

Astrazeneca Information Architecture (AZIA) it is a set of software programs (IBM® Web-sphere® Message Queuing(WMQ), Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX), OMEGA-MON® XE for MQ) used to transfer data between applications.The WMQ software links serv-ers, The WTX Provides the conversion of data between servers and OMEGAMON XE for MQ is used to monitor linkage between applications.

Accountabilities:

Handling Incident tickets with severity 1, 2 , 3 & 4

Queue manager creation and other MQ objects creation as per the requirement.

Tracing missing messages through Hubs & Gateways.

Troubleshooting and resolving the problem within the entire MQ environment.

Setting up ACLs for MQ queues, Queue managers and channels through the use of commands.

Fixing Queue manager startup/Crash problems by examining at error logs and FDC files.

File adapters (IntoMQ & FromMQ) Configuration and Maintenance.

Handling Stalled adapter queues and error queues.

Handling failed files in the adapters.

Deploying .msl's in WTX (Websphere Tranformation Extender)

Adding new Event servers in WTX.

Backing up of queue managers, logs and other file directories.

Co-ordination with application team in designing applications to use MQ.

Providing L3 MQ support and L1 infrastructure support to the customer.

Closely work with developers in Environment design & Architecture, Configuration, Deployment & troubleshooting of MQ issues.

Wipro takes care of IT business for SSC includes development, enhancement, production support, application support and all other IT services in various fields like Websphere, Site minder, Networking, EAI, etc. In our Project we provide 24/7 support as well as adminis-trate MQ, Message Broker and File transfer. All Troubleshooting and Problem solving related to these technologies are handled by our team.

Accountabilities:

Worked in project with various roles at different times as per the project demand.

Responsibilities include the following,

IBM MQ Series:

Provided 24x7 Websphere MQ & MB support from offshore for production, UAT and Development environments.

Installed and configured MQ Series server on Windows, AIX, Solaris and Linux

Created MQ Series objects on local and remote MQ servers

Created and configured Queue Managers with appropriate and pre-calculated log file system parameters.

Recreation of damaged MQ objects.
