OBJECTIVE:
My goal is to pass the RCIS Board Certification Exam by the end of December 2010. I hope to find a job and be using the skills I have learned to help people enjoy a better quality of life. After a year or so of work I will entertain the thought of going on for my Bachelors Degree.

Invasive CVT Student:
Completed 120 clinical hours at Hershey Medical Center in Non-Invasive Cardiology
to include: EKG's, EST, and Holter Monitoring.
Completed 360 clinical hours in Diagnostic Procedures at Hershey Medical Center to include: Circulating, Monitoring and Scrubbing in during diagnostic procedures.
While there I was able to witness and assist in many other procedures and learning experiences.
Completed 480 clinical hours in Invasive Procedures at Holy Spirit Hospital and an additional 160 clinical hours at Harrisburg Hospital to include; Circulating, Scrubbing and Monitoring during interventional and diagnostic procedures. I have participated in over 190 diagnostic catheterizations at the scrub position with 70 of them turning into interventions, Monitored 85 cases with 25 of them turning into intervention, and circulated 35 cases with 9 of them turning into interventions. I have also had extensive experience at prepping and draping the patient also setting the sterile field and tray. While at Holy Spirit and Harrisburg I have been involved in and seen many different procedures, and been exposed to new and cutting edge technology that has greatly enhanced my learning and experience.
I have assumed many responsibilities when assisting the Cardiologist in the scrub position, become proficient in Hemodynamic monitoring and case documentation at the monitor’s position, and I have limited experience with the position of circulator in the procedures. I have administered medications under the direct supervision of the Cathing Physician and RN in the room. I have experience in the scrub position with numerous balloons, stents, catheters, guiders, wires and other diagnostic and interventional equipment. I have also used the rotablader, Ivus imaging, Ivus FFR, pressure wire, and T-pacer. I have monitored numerous diagnostic and interventional cases, to include: a Watchmen implantation, a TEE, an Impela insertion, a balloon pump insertion, numerous peripheral cases as well as a carotid artery ballooning and stenting.
