Database Programmer (Contractor for Global Resource Partners, Miami FL)

* Responsible for maintenance and additions to the NORDIS DIRECT TEAMHEALTH Import Application. This was an ACCESS Database with a front end coded in VB. This application runs complex queries in which the tables are attached to DB5 files. Enhancements coded; routines to parse out address data, updating credit and collections fields, creating complex queries for data extraction and data conversion.

* Responsible for the design and creation of the NORDIS DIRECT TEAMHEALTH ACCOUNTING application. This an ACCESS Database with a front end coded in VB. This application contains various data entry forms to process accounting data. Invoices are generated for the clients using the ACCESS 97 Report Writer. The reports are converted to HTML format; the Invoices are then electronically submitted to each client. This application also contains a routine in which the Database is compacted and repaired once a month.

* Responsible for the design and creation of Nominations, a software application used for storing provider data and using VB 6.0, ADO, Crystal Reports 7.0, ACCESS, SQL Server 7.0 and SQL stored procedures. This application also contains a report feature.

* Responsible for the redesign and coding using SQL Server 7.0. All embedded SQL was converted T/SQL stored procedure connected thru ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) and VB 6.0 as a front end for the wallpro software. Create Visual Basic class objects to minimize code behind the forms.

* Designed and coded a Report Program using VB 6.0 with ADO, SQL Stored Procedures using T/SQL and Active Reports.

* Designed and coded a Web page using ASP, SQL Server 7.0 SQL Stored Procedures using T/SQL ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) to enter and retrieve weekly status report data.

* Designed and coded a FTP component using VB INET control to download dbf and text files with provider information. These tables were then imported into an ACCESS database. Three Visual Basic Class Objects were coded, one for FTP for the file, one for converting of the text file and the other to process the database.
