Project Manager / Superintendent position in the Columbia, South Carolina area, being a member of a team of professionals, building the very best in commercial or residential construction.

Over twenty five years experience supervising projects ranging from single family homes to complete gated communities, from commercial office buildings and churches,

to a complete nursing home facility.

Directly responsible for the supervision of; complete site development, tilt wall concrete construction, formed and poured concrete, reinforced concrete block, wood and metal framing, pre-engineered metal buildings and steel structures, and the direct supervision of subcontractors and self preformed work by our own crews.

• Worked with building departments, engineers, and owner reps for regulatory and design compliance, along with building permitting

• Negotiated subcontract bidding and prepared scopes of work

• Worked with project managers to create construction budgets

• Developed construction schedule and scheduled subcontractors

• Supervised daily site activities from site work through turn over to client

• Plan review, take offs, and ordered required materials

• Coordinated subcontractor crews and employees for self performed work

• Held safety meetings and promoted attitude of safe thinking

• Collected and maintained MSDS manuals

• Maintained quality control and identified potential jobsite conflicts

• Conducted job site meetings with owners, architects and subcontractors

• Identified, prepared, and executed change orders and modifications to contracts

• Columbia Aviation: Superintendent for executive pre-engineered airplane hangar at Columbia Airport

• Riverland Hills Baptist Church: Superintendent for 26,000 sq.ft. steel structure with brick classroom addition

Bobbitt Design Build, Columbia, South Carolina 2/06 – 5/07

• Cornerstone Baptist Church: Superintendent for 37,000 sq.ft. pre-engineered steel structure and brick church in Darlington, S. C.

• Salem United Methodist Church: Superintendent for 7,000 sq. ft. steel structure and brick sanctuary built on to historical building built in 1873

Leonard Albanese Custom Homes, Boca Raton, Florida 11/94 – 11/05

• Mizner Lake Estates: Superintendent / project manager of 15 luxury estate homes in a gated community on the grounds of the world famous Boca Raton Hotel & Resort. Included complete community development and homes constructed of formed and poured concrete. Homes ranged from $ 3.5 million to over $ 8 million.

• Leonard Albanese Personal Residence: Superintendent / project manager of custom, old world style, ocean front home constructed with reinforced concrete block and formed and poured concrete, with approximately ten thousand square feet valued at over $ 8 million.

• Various communities: superintendent / project manager of 19 custom homes, in country club and waterfront communities, constructed of reinforced concrete block and formed and poured concrete, ranging from $ 1 million to $3 million.

• Sheppard Estate: Superintendent for an eight unit custom townhouse project, built on the grounds of the over one hundred year old Sheppard Estate, duplicating it’s craftsmanship and historical aesthetics
