Such as shears and drill press, cut metal plates and brackets using on oxy-fuel torch and grinding parts to shape for fitting together. Read and or understand blue prints.

Worked on new construction aluminum ships. Made lay out and fabricate metal structural parts such as plates, bulkhead, decks, and frames. Located and marked reference lines such as centerline, buttock lines and frame lines. Fit metal parts into position. Blueprint reading.
