Due to the sale of Lansco Die Casting to Alloy Die Casting in February 2008, my duties included the successful transfer of Lansco’s products, equipment and personnel to Alloy. Upon completion of this transfer, special projects were added to my duties, to include start-ups of new projects from PPAPS through Customer approval. This process often required interface with the Customer’s Engineering representative, and performing capability studies of critical dimensions (SPC). I am experienced in AS9100 and ISO9001.

05/92 - 02/08 Lansco Die Casting, City of Industry, CA.

Position: President

Duties included P&L responsibility, oversight of all Departments to include Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Die Casting, Production, and Sales. Customers consisted of the Automotive Industry, Medical Industry, Military and Defense, and Commercial products. ($20 M Company, supervise 250 employees)

Position: Vice President of Operations/General Manager

Duties included the responsibility of plant operations which consists of the following: Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Die Casting, Tooling, Production Control, Automation, Quoting, and extensive customer interface. Vast experience in the implementation of SPC and JIT.

Accomplishments: Increased profit by implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Duties included the responsibility of all quality related activities including calibration, in-process inspection, final inspection, scrap analysis SPC, PPAPs and customer/supplier interaction.

Assistant to the General Manager, Responsibilities included all Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Production Control. Experienced in Statistical Process Control, JIT, and Kanban systems.

Duties included the supervision of Quality Control personnel, implemented SPC, monitored vendor performance, reviewed customer specifications, and ensured compliance to MIL-I-45208.
