Award winning Project: Rotary Cylinder Valve engine(Final Year Project):

Prototype of 10 cc RCV engine was designed and manufactured, used for its principal purpose unmanned aerial vehicles and its application in automobiles, which would increase fuel efficiency without affecting the power of the engine. This project was selected in “DIPEX 2007” state level project competition and acquired 1st place competing against all the universities from Maharashtra state, India.

Internship :

July 2005- September 2005 Mahindra & Mahindra (Jeep division, Automobile sector) Mumbai, India.

Three months of training in SAP (System Application and process) application end, including analysing the project on “Scheduling Agreement for Purchasing of Procurements”. The objective of the project was to study the stock of procurement and ordering them accordingly once every 6 months, in which in which the rationale is to save time and issues of production units to increase production.

Role : • Managing supply of procurements to specific department.

• Dealing with vendors to order procurements.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Presently working as trainee design engineer (Part time) for De Montfort Uni. and J H May Ltd in designing a new product. I am designing a product having attributes like, able to drive itself along 600meters in pipe of diameter 95 mm to 105 mm. I have already completed one design project on forward rowing mechanism.

I worked in a team of 15 to promote primus telephone lines to customers in Canada in Primus Canada telecom organization. Some responsibilities included negotiation with more than 50 customers every day. This job helped me in polishing my interpersonal skills and communication strategy as I had to regularly deal with customer objections and convince them effectively. I also learnt to set and achieve target as well as time and stress management.
