Sales Application Middleware System Feb 2011 - to till date

Title : Sales Application Middleware System

Client : Metro Group, Germany

Role : Developer

Environment : WBI Message Broker 6.1 and DB2.

Project Description:

This project integrates Web Portal front end system with the other legacy systems like Inventory System, finance system and the Reporting System. Integration is required when a customer is checking whether a particular product selected via web portal is available or not. The product availability status was present in Inventory which we needed to extract. Once if the inventory is available it needs to check whether it is a direct purchase (or) EMI Based. If the purchase is direct purchase then we need to check the finance system whether the client is below credit limit. If the purchase is EMI based then we have to get the credit status of customer from the reporting system. The finance system is a mainframe based application from which it gets the finance status. The reporting system is a J2EE based application.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and debugging the Message Flows for the request and responses.

• Developing ESQL to perform computations and mappings.

• Unit testing and debugging of the ESQL Code.

• Reusing the sub-flows, in order to avoid the rewriting of code.

• Working on web service, compute and filter nodes.

• Deploy the flow into Execution group.

• Development of XML, MRM (CWF and TDS) based message sets and Build the message maps.

Enterprise Integration Broker Migration Jan 2010 – Feb2011

Title : Enterprise Integration Broker Migration

Client : Abbott Laboratories, Chikago, USA

Role : Developer

Environment : WBI Message Broker, MQ Series, Java, DB2, Clearcase.

Project Description:

The solution is to migrate current application integration platform into IBM WBI product without any changes to the end applications. Overall, the solution shall provide a scalable platform that can be easily built upon for all facilities as well as more value-added services such as advanced decision support, workflow automation and business process management in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Developing message flows for the requests and responses.

• Developing ESQL for computations and transformations.

• Reusing sub-flows in order to avoid rewriting of the code.

• Implementation of Request/Response model based on Aggregate nodes

• Implementation of Sub-flows in to main flows.

• Creation of Queue managers and queues.

• Unit testing and debugging of the ESQL Code.

This project mainly deals with automation process of Electronics Company. This project consist various modules such as Resource Management System, Export and Import, Manufacturing, Design, Stores, Financial Management System and System Administration. I was partially involved in entire project and fully involved in Sales and Dispatch Modules. These modules are designed as per client’s requirements and reports are generated according to client specifications.

• Writing end to end flow from JSP to hitting database.
