• I am fortunate enough to have been able to work on many different rigs and have had to do things several different ways in order to make the job go smoothly.

• • I can totally rebuild many different styles and brands of mud pumps. National oilwell, Gardner Denver, Continental Emsco (F1000, F800), Lewco.

• • I have always been able to help the mud engineer with the properties of the mud and the consistency. I found myself always being the derrickman on tour when breaking over the mud because I had the mud man's trust.

• • Expertise on monkeyboard. I'll never tell someone that I'm best, but no one is gonna beat me up there. I have hundreds of hours of experience tripping pipe on the monkeyboard.

I started to work with Sandia after two a month of unemployment. I excelled in any of the job operations and functions that went on. Sandia was not a top notch company and could not get top notch hands. I witnessed and was involved in too many close calls in too short of time. Mud pumps blowing apart. Drillers smashing roughnecks with the tongs. I was almost pulled down from the derrick because drillers were setting the blocks down on the monkeyboard. I have a newborn son that I have to support and I can't support him if I'm not alive. I did get a lot of rig running experience while working with Sandia.

Description-

Worked closely with mud engineer to ensure properties and consistency of mud was correct. Monitored all mud pumps and pumping equipment for proper operation and maintenance to keep them working. Set pit markers and watch for gain or loss in the pits. Watched shakers to monitor flow. During tripping operations I was on the monkeyboard latching or unlatching the elevators or other tubing equipment from around pipe/ tubulars.

I went to work with Justiss because i was offered a derrickman job. They were confident in my abilities through the resume and application I sent them that I was a good candidate for the job. I started to work with them as a roughneck on a trial for a derrickhand. After three days of roughnecking, I had my derrick job. I left in October to go to a larger company with more money, but as soon as i left Justiss, with training classes scheduled for other company, they stopped hiring.

I went to work with Trinidad for fear of being laid off from Nabors. I went with several different whole drilling crews and several drillers wanted me to go on there crew. I left on account of being past up too many times for a promotion. I watched too many workers come and go on my crew in positions above me for me not to be given the opportunity to better myself.

I went to work with Nabors Offshore after being fired from Bronco Drilling. I was not family and everyone else on the rig was related somehow. I was told that I was fired for the toolpusher's nephew needed my job.

I went to work at Bronco Drilling after working with Rowan. I see this company as my base for knowing everything that i do now. We worked in the oilfields of South Louisiana and drilling was tough.

Rowan was my first job on an oil rig. I was worked as a painter my first few months and i was getting severely aggravated by being stuck on the paint crew. I kept sending all of the rigs overseas and be put on a new one. I couldn't gain any seniority and would have to start all over again when I was sent somewhere else. I did get a roughneck job on the second rig I was on but it was taken away from me when I was put on the third.
