I have been practicing as an LPN at a Nursing Home for 2 years and hold a current License. Listed are some skills and attributes I am knowledgeable in and well trained for:

• Administering medications and intravenous fluids.

• Collect blood and urine samples from the patients and provide assistance with the lab work, and prepare billing forms.

• Prepare and update progress notes on patients.

• Monitor the amount of food and fluid consumed, help with making a care plan.

• Specialized bedridden or incapacitated patent experience, Patients on temporary period would not be able to take care of hygiene, as the Nurse I delegated and overseen that CNA and CNA2 assisted them with their ADLs, hygiene, and if needed feedings.

• If the patient is bedridden permanently they could suffer from bedsores and I overseen moving them on a regular basis and other measures, ex. Gel cushion for wheel chairs, air flotation mattresses, skin protecting barriers, and ointments.

• Most of my patients suffered from depression and/or anxiety due to diseases process or deprivation of loved ones. I assisted with this by providing emotional support to them and their families as they were in my care.

• Check the vital statistics of patients, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, pulse, and respiration, and O2 saturation.
