Primary responsibility involved providing clear and concise advice to the Owner regarding their interests in all areas of the construction process for the River East Center Project with particular attention to the General Contractor’s adherence to contractual requirements and their ability to properly manage the quality and progress of the work. Interfaced extensively with the Owner, General Contractor & Architect while attending project meetings, reviewing construction claims, monitoring costs and tracking the progress of the work. During project meetings took a leadership role in discussion and analysis of construction issues, phasing, and site safety. Prepared detailed commentaries and evaluations of numerous Contractor Change Order requests which enabled the Owner to successfully contest many of those claims. Set up and administered the construction office for a $100 million luxury condominium conversion. Coordinated all construction activities for common areas and individual unit build outs. Common areas work included window and unit ventilator replacements; exterior restoration; and lobby, elevator and corridor renovation. Individual unit construction ranged from standard build outs with new kitchens and baths, to highly customized units with major reconfiguration of rooms and the combining of multiple units. Coordinated with project management, contract administration, Architects/designers, owners and sales department to ensure construction was on budget and on time. Responsible for negotiating and signing subcontractor/supplier agreements; scheduling construction; and, preparation and submittal of all close out documents.

Performed all contractor activities for various institutional rehabilitation and restoration projects.
