Objective:

My objective is to obtain a position within a company using my work experience and the knowledge that I have gained in my present position. I am looking for a work experience where I can utilize the skills I have gained in my previous experience while returning home. I am former resident of Port Allegany, who graduated from Port Allegany Jr./Sr. High School. I wish to be able to utilize my skills to the benefit of both company and customer.

Bachelor of Arts: English Literature

My degree focused primarily on literature, but my minor was Spanish language therefore I am well versed in oral and written Spanish.

Experience:

FairPoint Communications: May 2008-Present

Supervisor of Financial Operations

My function within FairPoint was assisting in systems design and testing during the sale of Verizon systems in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire to FairPoint Communications. I also assisted with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures. I am supervising a staff of thirteen employees currently. I am responsible for reconciling bank accounts that average $5-6 million a month. I am also responsible for ensuring an accurate and timely postings of customer payments. I have created and maintained reports via Access and Excel.

I am also aware of PUC regulations.

Time Warner: August 2006 – March 2008

Accounting Assistant II

My primary functions included helping on a transitional basis reporting for cash true-up between Adelphia, Time Warner and Comcast due to the sale of Adelphia. I was responsible for helping to create various reports for cash flow between the companies. I created reports generated out of Access and Excel to account for/reconcile approximately $6-7 million a month.

Adelphia Communications: February 2002 - July 2006

Accounting Assistant II

My primary job functions included sorting payments, payment research and organizing cash flow for a company while maintaining Sarbanes Oxley protocol. I was responsible helping for organize inter-company cash flow on a daily basis. My job functions also included dealing with various customer accounts in concern to electronic payments and dealing with company bank accounts. In this position I served as a temporary “Team Lead” over three to four representatives.

Adelphia Business Solutions (TeleCove/ Level 3 Communications): August 2001 - February 2002

A/R Clerk

My job consisted of data entry of customer payments and sorting said payments to various local offices. I also performed various general office tasks.

Skills:

- Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley protocol.

- Highly Familiar with all programs with in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Access.

- Comfort with designing and maintaining databases, including tables, queries and macros for reporting purposes.

- Comfort with reconciling bank accounts that generate high dollar amounts with a high number of transactions per month.

- Familiarity with Selkirk's Treasury Manager and its functions.

- High familiarity with CDG billing system and reporting

- High familiarity with Kenan billing system and reporting.

- Ability to multi-task.

- Able to work with little supervision on my own or within a group.

Languages:

Spanish- I have what most would consider a business level grasp of all forms of Spanish
