Ambition

position as a Mechanical Engineer; and by doing so better both the human condition and

(Manufacturer of High End Bathroom Ceramic-wares, tubs, and faucets)
Fall 2010 - Present
I am held responsible for evaluating chinaware product from new vendors and for products
in development to ensure if they meet TOTO USA, INC. standards. This Involved creating specific
testing media that were at the right dimensions and densities, making sure that the product passed
all ASME requirements, and dimension all products so they meet predetermined specifications set
by the development engineering group (which the position falls under) and the executives.

A vital member of University Housing Staff that is a live-in member of the Department of
University Housing Staff and works with a group of students in one of the residence halls, dorms, and works

Created an electromagnetic dust remover, with a team of fellow engineering students, for
use by astronauts on the lunar surface.

Fall 2009
Coauthored journal article about the uses of Rapid
Prototyping Technology in a lab setting. The article is in publish in
the Computers in Education Journal.
Leadership & Volunteering
National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)
Fall 2008 – Spring 2010; V.P. of Selection Spring 2010
NRHH is an organization that recognizes student leaders inside university housing
departments throughout the universities in America, and provides opportunities for service and
volunteering for the community in which they reside in. During my part of the organization, I
participated and helped organized in two annual programs for the community, participated in
relay-for-life rallies each year, and donated time to cook dinner for the Ronald McDonald House
Charities along with helping with books for Africa program with better world books.
Science Nights
Spring 2010
Went to schools in and around Bulloch county and, along with the Georgia Southern
Chemistry Club (SAACS), hosted chemistry booths with a range of demonstrations that were aimed
at engaging children’s interest in the field of science.
