History

I was employed at Silverstar Communications from 1996 to 2007 when I decided to start my own business, Cooke Cabling, doing residential A/V and contract fiber optic work. For the last three years I have been a contract fiber optic splicer for Silverstar, both in their Freedom Wyo. exchange as well as their Driggs office.

The last three years I was employed at Silverstar, I worked mostly on locating bad spots in cable as well as buried loops that were placed by onsite workers from the developer. Construction crews had cut and buried dead fiber throughout the development. When houses started going in, it was my job to heat those fibers up and get houses in service. Since then, Silverstar has used me for the same thing, as well as new construction, splicing ADC hubs, splitters and service cutover.

Personal

Married to Jacki with three children, Cade 15, Olivia 13, Cooper 8. We enjoy the outdoors and do a lot of rodeo. That seems to take up most of our weekend time. I grew up on a ranch outside of Victor. We still live there and run a small bunch of cows.
