 Provided care for patients dealing with or recovering from: dementia, Alzheimer’s, various depressions, suicidal ideation, diabetes, fractures, head trauma, paralysis, chemotherapy, surgery, cancer and end of life.

 Monitored, drained, inserted and/or removed Foley catheters, nasal-gastric tubes, Jackson-Pratt drains also perform colostomy and urostomy care.

 Experienced in the use and care of saline locks, chest tubes, feeding tubes, restraints, braces, splints, tracheotomy tubes, hoyer lifts, constant perpetual motion machines (CPM), 5 lead EKG and 12 lead EKG reading.

 Wound care, cleaning and redressing postoperative incisions, and decubitus ulcers.

 Worked with MRSA patients ensuring all contact precautions were strictly adhered to.

 Started, monitored and discontinued oxygen therapy.

 Palliative care to terminally ill patients, inpatient and in home.

 Education given on end of life signs and symptoms, medication usages and administration.
