56 foot wide Caernarvon Sector Gate connecting Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity (LPV) 148 and 149, New Orleans, LA. Team leader for new designs. Participated in all phases of engineering from schematic design to final P&S productions. (Cost: $38M)

• CDOT/IDOT

North Halsted Street Bridge over the Chicago River North Branch Canal Reconstruction, Chicago, IL– Structural engineer completed the design and construction documents for the substructure of the bridge, including abutments, cofferdams, precast/prestressed concrete arches for pedestrian walkways and retaining walls. This project consisted of the removal of the existing movable bridge and design of a tied arch structure that would be supported on new substructure elements.

• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

Alpine Dam for the City of Rockford, Illinois. The project intends to identify deficiencies in the 60-year old dry dam and design improvements necessary to address those deficiencies and bring the dam in compliance with current Illinois Department of Natural Resources Dam Safety requirements. Lead structural engineer. Services include: QA\QC the peer structural calculations and engineering quantities along with cost estimates; evaluates the existing concrete strength and determines proper bonding procedure between the old and new concrete.

• CDOT/IDOT - O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP)

Runway 9C - services include alternatives analysis, geometric studies, cost estimates, structural calculations of underground culverts, right-of-way studies, and environmental coordination to prepare Phase I/II reports.

I-355 Roadway and Pavement Rehabilitation, DuPage County,IL Preparation for structure condition reports, contract plans and cost estimates for the resurfacing and rehabilitation of I-355 from I-55 to Butterfield Road . Included within the project is the rehabilitation of seventeen structures which include dual mainline structures, overpass structures and two tunnel structures.
