Successfully carried out, various responsibilities of Management and Execution of technical support activities including software installation, customisation of software, site acceptance test, training, trouble shooting of software’s, Conceptualisation and implementation of production method/work flow for Overseas and Indian projects. Indian Naval Hydrographic Department: July 1981 - July 1996

Bathymetric and oceanographic Survey Planning, data collection/acquisition, data processing, compilation and generation of Survey Reports and Results. Handling of survey motor boats, various evolution at sea, seamanship, Navigator’s yeoman, Chief Quarter Master, Nuclear Biological and Chemical Damage Control, Life Saving evolution at sea, Fire fighting etc. Collate, plot, evaluation of source material and promulgation of worldwide Navigational Warning of Navarea VIII, Managing of Admiralty, Australian, India and New Zealand Navigational chart corrections. Preparation of chart folios & associated Navigational Publications, passage planning for ships plying in foreign waters.

Various Projects Carried out:

• Offshore Environmental Buoy was erected and commissioned for collection of meteorological, oceanographic, water quality parameters with various sensors and transmitted to base station using GPRS technology.

• Training and demonstration were given to the survey companies for Hydrographic equipment and software’s with GPS/DGPS for establishment of land elevation, topographic mapping and bathymetric profile etc.

• Creation of Electronic Navigational Chart and Translation of MGD 77 data format from the hydrographic survey data source.

• Digitisation and data conversion of Hydro-graphic fair sheet as per Canadian Hydro graphic Service specified NTX format.

• Digitisation and data conversion of Hydro-graphic sheet of Royal Danish Administration of Navigation and Hydrography.
