Senior Project Manager

Lead a cross functional team to develop a new and innovative door system for CVS. Directed a Global Design Center in China in the development of a 3Panel ICU door package, door arm consolidation, a self latching bifold swing door, instruction manuals and parts book pages. Designed, tested and installed a new door package for Wal*Mart. Engineered many special projects including an electrified privacy glass door package. Shared my knowledge on other projects including platform screen doors, intensive care units and hurricane doors. Participated in enhancement activities to improve cost and or function. Developed and designed the only new lockset to replace a current line in 2003. Brainstormed product concepts, created designs, created drawings, made prototypes and verified function by testing. Designed and tested ideas for cost reductions on other lock products. Made visits to customer sites to verify and monitor function of lock sets in use. Worked with manufacturing engineers and cell leader to improve designs for manufacturability and improved process flow.
