RIA Development Lead, Channel Payments rewrite (Mar 09-Till date)

The Payments rewrite project is about providing rich user experience to all the existing customers of bank of America and the customers from its acquisitions, alike. The new payments system’s objective is to extend the services to international customers and provide existing customers additional usability.

Accomplishments

* Evaluated Ajax based JSF frameworks (ICEfaces, Richfaces, Trinidad) based on the RIA needs of the bank, in collaboration with architecture team.

* Conducted training on JSF, AJAX, Richfaces to the Payment rewrite team of the bank.

* Provided consulting to the business team on the RIA needs based on the latest trends and the technology capabilities.

* Lead the RIA/UI track of the project in agile methodology.

* Designed the core classes and the base framework for the project.

* Developed POCs using Richfaces, Richfaces CDK and Richfaces Skinning and provided guidance to the team.

Accomplishments

* Performed Market research on the current trends in the eCommerce based on which the solution was conceptualized.

* Performed SWOT Analysis and hence defined the scope of the solution.

* Created an important articraft of Infosys Iris- eCommerce reference model, which is an exhaustive list of features in eCommerce.

Infosys Helix is a propriety connector solution for Lotus Quickr and Documentum from Infosys in conjunction with its global alliance partner IBM for augmenting the IBM product Lotus Quickr. This solution contains pre-integrated components which manage the functional, architectural and delivery aspects of a typical content management and collaboration tool.

Accomplishments

* Created the POC within a given short interval of time using Documentum foundation classes (DFC) and REST services of Lotus quickr to transfer files across. This allowed the solution to be positioned in IBM lotusphere 2008.

* Involved in design, architecture and evolution of the solution

* Lead the development of the project to create the connector solution to transfer the files and meta-data of the files using a mapping.

* Took the initiative to create web interface for the transferring files and scheduling the transfers.

* Created Marketing video about the solution which was used in IBM Lotus sphere and then kept in IBM website as an introduction to the solution.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta has built some tools to improve regression testing. TRDDC has collaboration with Georgia Tech and hence planned to evaluate these tools in an industrial setting through this project. TRDDC has developed a core technique to identify the conditions under which one part of a program can influence another. This project focused to apply and extend these techniques to handle Java.
