Developing change model for the bank, and managing all the change initiatives the bank is undertaking to reach the strategic values realization.

Main Accomplishments:

Developed the change management model for the bank’s change initiatives

Developed change readiness assessment tool for the different programs in the projects portfolio, which gives indication of how ready is the organization to embark the program and what is the value at risk

Contributed in formulating the bank’s strategy for the coming 3 years including the strategic programs, cots, benefits definition, and developing the strategy map

Participated in building the bank’s project portfolio which includes more than 300 projects with total budget exceeds 1 billion Egyptian pound ($160 Million)

Independent ERP Change Manager, 7/2009 to 12/2010

Manage the change initiative of standardizing the ERP applications (BPCS, and JDE) across the emerging markets; the change initiative project at the two Egyptian manufacturing facilities was the flagship of this program.

Main Accomplishments:

Successful go-live for all the applications in two different sites (Cairo and Giza), on due date and below budget (Budget was £662,000 and the overall projects cost was around £520,000)

Managed the business transformation process through putting and implementing the proper change management strategies in terms of stakeholders management, communication management, impact of change assessment, organization design, training management, and finally created a successful environment for the change team

Managed the integration with the commercial side which facilitates transferring the plant transactions to the financial area and reduced the time spent on creating manual entries

IBM – CAIRO, EGYPT

My responsibilities included handling all the change management activities for SAP (ECC6.0) projects, managing the post go-live support, as well as participating in presales and writing statements of work and technical proposals for prospect clients.

Main Accomplishments:

Successful go-live and on due date for SAP implementation at Heineken International, the total cost of the project was $120,000 however the financial proposal was for $500,000, the total number of end users was 550 and the implementation included financial, logistics, and production modules in SAP, and the entire team I managed consisted of 10 junior IBM SAP consultants, IBM was the change management provider in this project and I was the lead

Participated and managed the business transformation process during the SAP implementation projects at PepsiCo (250 end users) and Heineken international (550 end users) through putting the proper change management strategies to help these organizations achieve their ultimate goal of maintaining their customers and outperform their competitors on an ongoing basis

Change management work included organization alignment, stakeholders management, communication management, impact of change assessment, organization design, training management, and finally created a successful environment for the change team

Was part of the team conducted the presales activities and prepared the technical proposal for the Egypt National Railways project ($10,000,000 project) with 3,000 end users
